food coma at it's finest

Not sure I will ever eat again….. 3 days non-stop gluteny.

Day 1 -  Lunch at Del Posto, a Mario Batali Restaurant with true Italian Cuisine.  Executive Chef Mark Ladner and Pastry Chef Brooks Headly.   The icing on the cake at this white linen meal was when Pastry Chef cracked a massive cookie all over our clean and beautiful table.  After 4 courses,  4 deserts, champagne and wine, I couldn’t help but try every last crumb.  Becky and I indulged, Sarah cried (tears of pure Pastry Chef joy)

Spanish Tapas at Pipa with Kelli, Katie, Katie, Becky, and Friends to celebrate Luis Golden Birthday.  Mucho Delicious-O.

Day 2 - Food Truck for lunch (disappointing, as we have such good ones {Roti Rolls} in Charleston).  Beer and Pretzels at Radegast Beer Garden in Brooklyn- very cool.
And then my personal favorite meal from my lifetime was served to us on this Wednesday evening at Ko|Momofuku, roughly 13 courses (sorry pictures and menu were not allowed so I cannot share), but this is a must do if you are ever to visit the City.

Day 3 – Lunch with the ladies at ABC Kitchen-  This moment was something I’ve highly been anticipating since they all shared dinner with us at HUSK.  It was a pleasure serving them and then in return dining with them.  This Jean-George restaurant serves 90% locally sourced food, and greenmarket-dictated.  Food Sourced from predominantly smaller farms, but always organic, it’s about the food here so the cuisine is delicious without all the fancy.  Really loved the extra special touch on the bourbon-cream desert shots served in small beaker glasses.
